A perfect fall drink, this homemade pumpkin spice latte is like Starbucks without the line. Enjoy it iced or hot!
Before it's even officially fall, people go nuts for their pumpkin spice lattes, coffees, donuts and anything else pumpkin-y flavored.
And by people, I mean myself included. I literally just bought an "Oh my gourd" t-shirt last week, so yes I'm one of those pumpkin-everything obsessed people :).
I do love a good pumpkin spice latte. It's like the official welcoming of fall when I take my first sip. (Ahhh how I've missed you).
Once in a while I do love a good Starbucks latte, but honestly I'm more of a make-my-coffee-at-home kind of girl (plus I'd be broke if I bought Starbucks everyday).
I even have my own little coffee bar at home and I loveeee it.
The one thing my official barista bar was lacking though, was a good homemade latte.
I had the espresso and the cinnamon shaker, (like Starbucks of course) but I needed to figure how to get that perfect foam milk topping.
Low and behold the mighty Amazon was the answer to my homemade barista dilemma. (I swear my mailman must think I have an Amazon addiction).
The Zulay electric frother. How did I just now find this wonderful gadget?!
It makes my coffee bar complete and makes the perfect foam topping for my homemade pumpkin spice latte
Lattes, cappuccino, macchiato...all sound so fancy like the type of drinks you have to go to a fancy cafe for.
Not with an electric frother my friends. Game changer.
Yup, first day of below 40 degrees and I can stay in my adult onesie and whip up my own homemade pumpkin spice latte without waiting in that obnoxious drive through line.
