Easy & quick maple mayo sauce is made with a little mustard for a perfectly sweet, tangy & creamy sauce; great for fry dipping, smearing on sandwiches or on chicken!

A small white bowl of maple mayo mustard sauce with a spoonful of sauce dripping into the bowl.

I thought I was in love with honey mustard until I tasted this sauce…

Who would have though maple syrup and mayonnaise would make the best of friends?

I’ll warn you though, if you had a problem controlling your fry consumption before, this sauce makes it 1000x harder to stop eating those deliciously crispy fries (and there’s no shame in that!).

Besides being a simple dipping sauce for sweet potato fries, this maple mayo can also be used on my panko crusted salmon.

It’s a condiment-game-changer.

A small mason jar filled with maple mayo sauce. It's overflowing down the sides of the jar. It's thick and creamy with specks of black pepper.

Maple mayo sauce is easy to make and takes just minutes, it’s made with just 6 simple ingredients that are mixed together in one bowl:

  • Mayonnaise
  • Yellow Mustard
  • Maple Syrup
  • Garlic Powder
  • Salt
  • Pepper

To make this quick maple mayo mustard sauce all you have to do is add the ingredients to a bowl and mix together until evenly combined.  SO EASY!

I like doubling (sometimes tripling) the recipe so I always have a jar on hand in the refrigerator.

I used to make one small batch for John’s lunch sandwiches, but we were going through it like crazy so I had to upgrade to a bigger jar.

A white bowl with yellow mustard, mayonnaise, maple syrup, garlic powder and salt and pepper.

The sauce is very similar to honey mustard.

Maple syrup is used in place of honey for a distinctive sweet flavor, alongside the tangy yellow mustard and creamy mayonnaise, it’s a delicious flavor combination.

What to use your homemade maple mustard sauce on:

  1.  As a dipping sauce for French fries, sweet potato fries, carrot fries.
  2. As a fancy condiment on your burgers or sandwiches
  3. As a glaze on salmon, pork or chicken
  4. Maple Mustard Roasted Potato Salad
A small white bowl filled with light yellow maple mayo mustard sauce. A sweet potato fry is being dipped in the sauce and you can see it dripping down into the bowl.

It’s really just one of those sauces that’s good on just about anything (like BBQ sauce in my opinion).

John tells me I can sell this stuff because it’s so good but I’d rather just share it with you guys ;).
