Apple Pear Crisp

Cardamom

1. Mix together pears, apples, brown sugar, flour, spices, vanilla, lemon zest and salt.

2. Spread filling evenly into 9 x 13" baking dish.

3. For the topping: Combine flour, brown sugar, cinnamon & salt.

Step 4: Cut in the cubed butter using two forks or a pastry blender.

The mixture should resemble course, pea-sized crumbs.

Step 5: Stir in gingersnap cookie crumbs and oats.

Step 6: Evenly spread topping on top of pear & apple filling.

Step 7: Bake @ 350 F for 40-50 min

Serve warm with vanilla ice cream!
